Enter any date in Gregorian or Hijri to see the weekday it fell on (or will fall on), the matching date on the other calendar, and how far it is from today. The weekday does not depend on the calendar: 1 January 2000 is 24 Ramadan 1420 AH, and both are a Saturday.

The tool uses the proleptic Gregorian calendar (today’s leap-year rules applied to all dates), so weekdays before 1582 can differ from historical sources written in the Julian calendar.

Find a birth date from an age

If you know someone’s exact age on a date, the second tool finds their birth date. Example: someone who was 27 years, 6 months and 8 days old on 23 September 2026 was born on Monday 15 March 1999.

Why there can be several answers

Because months differ in length, several people can have the same age on the same day. Everyone born on 28, 29, 30 or 31 January 2001 was exactly one month old on 28 February 2001, because the monthly anniversary of a late-January birthday falls on the last day of February. The tool lists all of them. Rarely, no birth date produces the exact age requested; the tool says so and suggests adjusting the days by one.

How do I find a birth date from an age?

Enter the age in years, months and days in the second tool and the date on which the person had that age (today by default). The matching birth date appears on both calendars.

Why can there be more than one answer?

Months have different lengths. Everyone born between 28 and 31 January 2001 was exactly “1 month” old on 28 February 2001, so the tool lists every possible date.
