Since when have pensions been paid at the start of the Gregorian month?
Since 1 May 2024, when the General Organization for Social Insurance unified the pension payment date for all its customers and began paying pensions in advance at the start of each Gregorian month.
Why is the pension sometimes paid at the end of the month?
Because when the 1st falls on a Friday or Saturday the payment moves to the Thursday before. The January 2027 pension, for example, is paid on Thursday 31 December 2026, because 1 January 2027 is a Friday.
Is the pension paid on the same day as social security?
Usually yes; both are paid on the 1st of the Gregorian month and move to the Thursday when the 1st is a Friday or Saturday, but each agency makes its own announcement.
Is this site part of the social insurance organization?
No. This is an independent tool that calculates the usual date from the announced rule. It does not show pension amounts or personal data; those are only available on the official GOSI platform.
